6th Bead Soup 2nd Reveal

This is it!  Our day has come.  I listed the other participants of the second reveal on the entry below this one for your blog hopping pleasure.

I threaded the accent beads onto 24g steel wire and twisted them on to a strip of braided silk.  I used the glass heart focal, silver colored hook and the accent beads received from my partner, Iveth Caruso.

Bead Soup

My bead soup arrived last week.  Oh it is such a pretty soup!

Thanks so much to Lori Anderson Bead Soup Master for hooking me up with my soup partner, Iveth Caruso of Creative Atelier.
Bead Soup goodies
I wonder how my partner, Iveth Caruso , knew I wanted to work with some brown?

At a bead show a couple moths back I found a kit containing a string of man made sand stone.  Oh it was so beautifully glittery!   Instant love.  Not having experience in stringing with cord or using brown stones I passed on purchasing the kit.  Now thanks to Iveth I will have my first adventure into stringing a large focal and using these delish beads she sent.

Don't you think those tiger eye beads are just too yummy?
Close up for glass heart detail
This close up of the glass heart shows the shinning golden back ground along with three brown glitter spots that remind me  so much of the beautiful sand stone.

I have already sketched out a couple of ideas on what I will make with this beautiful heart, yummy tiger eye and stone beads.

Our reveal date is August 11.  Be sure to come back and check out my "creation"!  lol

Thanks so much Iveth!!!

Excited!!

My glass supplies are starting to arrive in the mail for Terri Brush soldering class.

I am so looking forward to this class.  I want to make all those cute things she has pictured on her web page.  Unfortunately won't be able to complete the heart for the Valentines day but I will have it for next year.

I will be posting pictures of my projects even it they are not any where near perfect.

Terri Brush Design
I really look forward to making jewelry  like Terris' pictured above.

AND then designing my own  :o)

Hope you have a creative week!

I have been checking out my list of blogs each day.  For some reason I am blocked from posting comments on blogger accounts or I am directed to a bright white empty page when I click on comments.   (Lisa your blog is one I can't comment on)

Just want bloggie friends to know I have been visiting but can't leave a comment.  Also I am not bright enough to figure out how to e mail (go figure) comment to folks like some of my bloggie friends have done.

I am still reading, checking in on you!

It's a New Year & the sun is shinning

(wish I were there)

This is gonna be a much better year.

Course so far the Fates have laughed in my face.

One of us has been ill since Christmas.

Thank God for blessing me with a loving, caring daughter.

Luz has taken care of me since she came home for Christmas dinner and found me in bed with a 103 temp and FREEZING......now she has a bad cold.

Yep, this is gonna be a WONDERFUL year.

Hope you are equally blessed!
